Esta sardinha não quer ser uma seca, nem estragar a festa! Mas vem alertar que as alterações climáticas são reais, bem como o cenário de seca extrema. Não deixemos a festa morrer!

In 2023 the Portuguese government decided to lower the VAT on various food products. This sardine contains some of them. As said by our Prime Minister António Costa: “with VAT at zero it tastes even better!”. Let’s believe!

Em 2023 o Governo decidiu baixar o IVA de diversos produtos alimentares e esta sardinha apresenta alguns deles. Como disse o nosso primeiro-ministro António Costa: “com o IVA a zero sabe melhor ainda!”. É crer!

On the 13th of May, the ear branch is harvested. Each plant has its symbolism: rosemary – health, poppy – love, marigold – wealth, corn cob – bread, vine – joy and olive tree – peace. After harvesting, the branch must be watched behind the entrance door and it remains there all year, until it is replaced the year after, symbol of protection.

A 13 de Maio colhe-se o ramo da espiga. Cada planta tem o seu simbolismo: alecrim – saúde, papoila – amor, malmequer – riqueza, espiga – pão, videira – alegria e oliveira – paz. Depois de colhido o ramo deve ser pendurado por trás da porta de entrada e lá fica todo o ano, até ser substituído pelo do ano a seguir, símbolo de prosperidade.
